Catherine Wattleworth.

Daughter of William Curphey.

Catherine Curphey married John Wattleworth on January 28th 1845.
Daniel Sayle and Jessie Baill witnessed the wedding at Bebington St Andrews, County of Chester, England.

Catherine and John Wattleworth (bootmaker son of a bootmaker of same name from Ramsey, IoM, where both Johns were born) lived their married life in Birkenhead near the Church in which they were married.

Their children were:
Jane Emily, 1845; Charles William, 1847; John, 1851; Catherine, 1854 and James, 1857.

All of them save the eldest girl seem to have vanished from records. In the 1881 & 1901 censuses I cannot find Catherine Wattleworth the mother, or her three boys. The IGI site returns a blank on all of them, too.

Jane Emily being my maternal GGrandmother is easier to pin down. But her mother and brothers I am stuck with.

They should appear in the 1851 somewhere since they were obviously in Cheshire, England continuing the enlargement of their family at that time.

Could anyone who has access to the 1851 census look the family up for me and get me a DOB for the mother, Catherine Wattleworth, neé Curphey. Plus her Country of birth which I am hoping was Mann like her husband's. Please? Or if not tell me where I can go next to pin her down?
