Re: Quine Family
In Response To: Re: Quine Family ()

By the way, to anyone who may can help me; the last grandfather thay my Quine family has traced in the USA, is William Quine, Sr born estimated before 1730, birthplace unknown. He was married to Mary {maiden name unknown} who was estimated born about 1720, birthplace unknown. William and Mary were married estimated before 1746 and resided in North Carolina. William died in 1781 in Caswell County North Carolina. Mary's death information unknown, but she was listed as head of household on the 1784-1787 North Carolina census. Their children were: John {born 1746, died 1816}, Benjamin {my grandfather, born 1755 died 1808}}, William jr {born 1756, died 1792}, and Henry {born 1757, died 1823 in Mississippi}. Benjamin married Esther Coram {born 1765, died 1820} in North Carolina in 1780. So if anyone may have a clue on how my Quine family may be connected to Isle of Man, please let me know. We feel that William Sr and Mary may have immigrated but are not sure from where. I appreciate any help! Have a great day!
