gill here, no, my grandfather was arthur bertie aston and his father was thomas aston, their wives were ann aston nee fitzsimon, and mary hannah aston nee green, it was arthurs son arthur v aston which would be my uncle, that i am looking for, he could still be alive today, i dont know what the v stands for but he was present at my grandparents deaths which was in douglas, i am now thinking they were in the isle of man quite a while, as i have a photo of my mother which was taken by newbys and she looks about 5, i feel sure somebody must have known of them, i hope. many thanks for your reply. gill
