My grandfather, Robert Christian, immigrated from IOM to New York in 1900, along with his brothers, Evan, Richard, and Phillip. His father was John Christian, m. Elizabeth Faragher about 1865 - he was from Foxdale, she was born in Laxey. John's father was James Christian, who married Hesther Kelly. My grandfather, Robert, married Alice Kermeen in 1907, as soon as she came over from IOM.
I would like to trace my IOM ancestors further back, if possible.
