Thank you for the information. Yes, this is the same person, my great grandad Richard James McLeavey. He lived in 30 King Street, Ramsey c.1899 and also lived at 29 Athol Street, Douglas in later life.

I have a relative now living in Tasmania who is at present writing a book about our Manx ancestors, she will be glad of the details.
