BBC two has joined with University College London in a unique genetics project to trace the genetic heritage of the people of the British Isles. To do this we need to recruit male volunteers who live in Ramsay or a 20 mile radius around it (including Douglas, Kirk Micheal, Port St Mary) who know that their grandfather was also born in this region. Men who meet these criteria will be asked to donate their DNA via a simple mouth swab with a cotton bud. These are self test kits that can sent by mail. We are hoping to recruit all volunteers from the British Isles by November.
If you feem you meet these criteria please email on the above email and we can send an applcation and self kit to you by snail mail.
Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.
