I have followed your correspondence on Cain(e) Corkill with interest but until recently my email has been problematic.I am a descendant of of Phillip Cain(e} Jnr b 1836 and Mary Anne Corkill(b 1808)who had children Ben, (USA), Emily, Jessie, Walter, Robert Joseph (my g grandfather),George William, Albert, Thomas Arthur, and John Lewis.I have been to the IOM in 1980 and met your cousins?? Molly and Hilary Curphy who drove us around the IOM in a mini.We also stayed with Isobel and Phillip Elliott in Douglas and we have semi regular contact between the folk in the IOM and the New Zealand Cains.I have considerable family information that I have been gathering but it is not in a form that is suitable for emailing .I am quite willing to share it and hope yu are interested in doing the same.
