My father was Robert Edward Creer born 18/2/1916. His father was Edward Creer and died of pneumonia due to conditions in the first world war. My grandmother remarried an Alf Corlett and my father did not know his father or anyone from the Creer side of his family. They lived in Douglas, IOM and then went to Manchester as my stepgrandfather was a policeman there. Any information would be greatly appreciated. All I know is that my real grandfather's name is on the Douglas memorial.
