Thanks for pointing that out to me. His first 2 children were born in Whitehaven-the rest in Liverpool. In Liverpool my grandmother was born at 16 South Street, Toxteth Park. It seems to me that they stayed around the same area in Liverpool. Maybe he could be found on the 1891 census, with the family in Toxteth Park. Just a thought. Thanks again. Marge
