I’m interested to find out more about robert cain a victoria cross winner and what relation he could be to our family

Robert Henry Cain VC. Robert Henry Cain (1909-1974) was born on 2nd January 1909 in Shanghai, China, the son of Robert James Cain and his wife, Emily Elizabeth (nee Lewin), who came originally came from the Isle of Man.

My family is based in liverpool now but my line goes back to isle of man and phillip cain 1846-1913 who married emily rutter 1850-1927 and their child was frederick cain 1871 to 1953
