I have Edward Gelling born 24 April 1818 in Braddan to John Gelling (1787-1825) and Isabella Oates (1795-1820). Edward went on to marry Isabella Quayle (1818 Patrick - 1857) on 17 Aug 1839.
My line comes down from Edwards grandfather John Gelling (1764 Marown - 1854 Ballaugh) and Elizabeth Oates (1767 Braddan - 1856 Braddan).
