The newspaper comment is what they expect to happen - I'm only quoting Hampton Creer's research and against Briggs' name he gives a PRO reference that indicates the boy's name was on the manifest of the named ship - tho I have researched at the UK PRO (at Kew) I haven't researched these convict records - once normality returns to their opening hours maybe I will call out that record and see if Creer's record is correct
