I have been trying to find on Google maps the several addresses that appear on census and other documents relating to Andrew LYNCHEY who died in Douglas 30/09/1879.
Andrew was the eldest surviving son of my convict G.G.G. grandmother Sarah Lynchey who the British government would not allow to accompany her to Australia [he was over eight years old]
It appears that many streets have either disappeared or have had a name change in the last 150 odd years.
Is there any accessible record that shows street name changes please?
