I am seeking assistance if someone can clarify who the parents are of John Waterson b1724, Malew.

On 29th July 1746 at Malew, IOM, John Waterson married Jane Quayle. There appears to be some uncertainty if the parents are Thomas Waterson/Catharine Blackburn or a John Waterson/Margery Waterson.
There are differing trees on Ancestry that have both sets of names listed.
Which one is correct?
