I am a descendant of a Caley that emigrated to the Rochester, NY area in the late 1860's. My 3x Great Grandfather's name was Hugh (Baptized Evan). He had 2 brothers, John and William. I really don't know if they emigrated to the U.S., or stayed on the Island. What I find intriguing is the fact that Hugh Caley's grandson John Caley married Edna Godwin. John Caley died age 23 and Edna went on to marry a gentleman named Joseph Wenzel!
