David would probably have seen the 1911 official copy of the parish regs which is that filmed by the Mormons (done I think because the UK had introduced old age pension and people needed to prove their age - the IoM brought in pensions post WW1)
The actual registers were at that time being collected but I'm not sure all were at the Museum.
