Gorry is not a long established Manx name - the Peel based Gorry clan would appear to originate with Wm Gorrie + Ann Murray (no marr on Island + names suggest an Irish or Scots background) whose first Manx born child was in 1776 but Wm's will of 1789 names other children - is it possible that Corry was derived from Gorree/Gorry and that your family + Alan Gorry share a common non-Manx ancestor - my understanding of autosomal DNA (ie via the female line) is that any variations here are over much longer timescales than are useful for family history)
