There are two interesting documents in the Castletown deeds - one is dated 1801 when Wm mortgages about half the fam (Revd John pays off a third shortly after death of father but rest not paid off until 1822
The other is a sale in trust by Revd John Cottier to a Robert Corlett [Castletown deeds Hillary term 1829 #60] - I haven't got a copy of this and I'm off Island at present
