Elizabeth, in case you don’t already know this, the majority of Wattersons were from the south of the island and Peel in the west. If you’re only there for a few days and you want to imagine walking in the footsteps of your ancestors, the best plan would be to concentrate on the churches in Rushen, Malew, Arbory, Santon, Patrick and German, and the towns Castletown, Port St Mary, Port Erin and Peel.
