Re your question:

Did Allan or Ralph marry Alice Carroll ? Could not find Ralph on 1900 US Census , but found Allan with wife Alice in Michigan and son John 1 born Canada and un-named daughter 0 born Michigan. Allan shows YOI 1891.

Only Allan/Allen of the brothers emigrated to US as far as I can tell. Ralph did not...but I did, but not until 1979.
