there is a Corkill family there (its not exactly a large place and just down road towards Peel from Glen Vine (going up into the hills - there is still the remnants of a mill there) - the main family was Wm Corkill + Cath Boyd but he was s/o Wm Corkill + Margt Crellin whose 2nd son was John bapt 1803 - ? related
