Most family history forums and message boards don't facilitate in finding living relatives for privacy reasons. I'm a member of the Liverpool & South West Lancashire FHS and post on their forum and I would suggest contacting the Liverpool Echo newspaper to post a request for any relatives to contact you direct.

Liverpool Echo have a section called "Old Pals" people write a few lines detailing their requests for contact. Requests can be sent to Chloe Beesley, Liverpool Echo, PO Box 48, Old Hall Street, Liverpool, L69 3EB.
