My grandmother was put in The Sheltered Home in Liverpool, England as her family couldn't look after her. She was sent to Canada from Barnado Home in 1900 never to see her family again. I have some letters from her sister.
Matilda's daughter was Edith 'dee' CLUCAS
1898–1976, married to George Arthur Gore. I have been trying to connect with living relatives in England for quite a few years. Can you help me. I would certainly appreciate it. . I live in Quebec, Canada, in the small village of Stanbridge East where my grandmother lived and died.
