Unfortunately most of these names do not run through my Hudgeon family. The most popular names are John, James, William, Thomas and Henry so could one of these be the name of James born 1787, father?

Do you know if any of the descendants of your John Hudgeon are still in the Isle of Man? Most of mine have ended up in Lancashire mostly Liverpool and Warrington, or emigrated to USA and Canada.
