Peter, thankyou so much for the background to the life of Horseman. It would have been very physical work for someone of William's age but he was probably fitter than most, for having done it. Hard work, but what a fine life to live and another wonderful thing lost to the world. .
My father was born in Foxdale due to my grandfather and his older brothers working the mines there, although we were originally Castletown Corrins. Sarah Corrin-Mason - who was sister to my grandfather - also has descendants living here in N.Z.
Right now I'm building up the story around her early life for our tree, so the Horseman brings in another dimension (!)
