Hi, would someone be able to help please. I am looking for verification of the birth of Jane Taubman who married Edward Gawne. She was born on 27 October 1734, Bowling Green, Castletown, Malew. I would like clarification of who her parents were and if possible where I can find the record for this baptism. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Jane and Edward Gawne are 7th Gt Grandparents to my children and we are currently in conversation with a DNA match trying to work out the ancestry lines. It is suggested that her parents are a Matthew Taubman and Elizabeth Norris - but as I have not seen any information for myself I do not want to take this information for granted.
