Peter CORKILL "Senr" was buried in Maughold on 30 Apr 1741, died 28 April last past according to his will, which was affirmed 2nd June 1741.

Another Peter Corkill was buried in Braddan on 28 Mar 1743. If you are suggesting that he could be the son of one of Peter's children who returned to Braddan, that was who I was looking for - but which one? I couldn't find any possible baptism anywhere for grandchild Peter.

The father of Peter Corkill son of Peter Corkill & Jony Quayle, B'Creggan, bapt Braddan 6 Jan 1742/43, couldn't have been son of Peter of Maughold d.1741 because his son Peter was in Maughold married to Margaret Christian!

Yes, there were numerous Corkills in Braddan - the first Maughold Peter Corkill d.1741 was the only one of his siblings to move to Maughold, so far as I can see from Maughold records.
