thanks for your message -- interesting stuff. Firstly, my grandfather was Phillip Moore but my Great Grandfather was indeed a Thomas Moore and he did have a brother called William, although I was now aware that he had a middle name but I do think he married Catherine Anne Quayle - so that bit sort of fits!!
