there are no official records that would show where in Ireland they came from unless mentioned in eg census records - sometimes mentioned in obituaries but usually you are reliant on any surviving family records - the 1840's saw many Irish move to the Island (eg as seen in growth of Catholic community) but the west coast of Island had had long established links via fishing and before this in mid 18th C smuggling

You can check the Manx Museum library in Douglas (national archives for this period) but suspect you will not be successful in finding out more
