I have read the many entries you suggested from the Manx Notebook regarding Presentments resulting in fornication and adultery. Amazing how society has now changed!

From this information I have discovered that Anne Christian conceived a previous illegitimate child (unnamed) to a Thomas Lace on the 14 June 1741 in Bride.

I will have to follow all this information up when I return to the IOM in February next year.
