Part only " The Moores of Ballamoore were descended from an Irish Family. The ancestor of the Manx Branch had (So tradition runs) three sons who left Ireland with William III , one of these son (as written) (Charles) settled in Wigton, Scotland and had a son The Rev Charles who was the grandfather of Sir John Moore of Corunna fame. Another of the three brothers settled in England , whilst the third found his way to the Isle of Man . The latter had a son Philip , who settled in Douglas. Philip was born in 1675".............
