identical events exactly 1 year apart between Jan + Mar 25 of years pre 1752 are generally artefacts of confused transcribers (eg the IGI is littered with such errors) pre change of calendar to start year 1 Jan rather than 25 Mar what would be written down in register as 10 Jan 1731 would in todays usage have been written 10 jan 1732 (eg the couple married 27 Mar 1731 with according to register their first chils John baptised 27 Jan 1731 ie 1731/2 and after marriage he was buried 5 Feb 1731/2 - this then explains the birth of Wm/Cath probably a premature baby on 10 Jan 1732/3 ie within a year - such short gaps between children are almost unknown if the morther breast feeds as would be the norm
