you cannot 100% trust any date post early 17th C pre 1752 where the month is Jan to Mar - you always need to look at the sequence of dates in a register - the IGI is often misleading and as for 'patron submitted' ...
Re non-conformist Manx registers pre 1752 there are none - Catholic Europe adopted the Julian dates 2 or more centuries before England and its colonies - parts of Orthodox Europe (Greece) only officially adopted it in 19th C
