Tho? Fargher [1st part name partly lost in a fold could be Jo] for a prcell of intackes rent 3s 10d for the same lives - cannot match this amount of intack
Wm Fargher for 1/2 qtr rente 5s 9d and for cottage & intacke rent 2s 4d all wch hee would surrender for the lives ofthe said Wm & of Tho & Wm his sonnes
Tho Fargher for 18d of the 3s 6d last compounded for by himself the other 2 prtes being sould to Ja:[James] Skillicorn fine for Fargher's prte - compounded for 21 years - the last composition may refer to 1616 but at moment is unclear

The Ellen Fargher (Ellin Fargher mother to said Tho Fargher) might well be same as in SSS May 1743 39 - dated 31 Jan 1742/3;Ellinor Fargher(Lonan) sells for £3, which acknowledges the supplying of my great + necessitous condition being blind + bedrid with no friend or reln to care for me, to James Kewley(Lonan) my interest in houses, lands + garden in Laxey Giln rent 5d adj Ballamilgin and Balldrine;Witt Philip Tear x, Jon Skillicorn x
The sale of the mill to Murrey is in Old Lonan deed #44 - [damaged rh margin] dated 15 Nov 1671;[?yr mostly lost but acked 16 Nov 1671]Philip Fargher(Lonan) + wife Alice als Kewley having fallen into poverty by arrears of rent sell for £14(ster) [amount partly lost ? 14s] to friend John Murrey(merchant, Douglas) the 4th part of a water corn miln 5s rent situate in Laxey Gill known as Bogeather with all stones etc; Witt Charles Parre, Wm Flexney; annexed note dated 15 Jul 1680 by John Fargher son + heir of Philip that father Philip was constrained to sell the qtr of miln whilst John was in minority but now at lawful years gives consent
Old Deed Lonan #27 might give name of Phill's wife - [torn in two sections]dated 26 Feb 1693; Phillip Fargher(Lonan) + wife Isable ls Knakiell sell for 5s to friend Thomas Christian our interest in a house + garden in Laxey; Witt William Christian x, William Lorranc, Henery Parr; acked by Philip 1706 when court reserved his wife's right
in 1682 lib vas has under Colby? rent 17s 6d - Wm Fargher drawn + James Kewley entered the right of ye sd rent fallinge due to Phill Fargher sonne to ye Wm Fargher hath sold ye same to ye sd James Kewley who now is entered upon certaine conditions mentioned in ye sd bill of sayle relation whereunto is always to be had on both prtes & alsoe to ye conditions mentioned in ye confirmation of ye sd sayle wch are alsoe to bee observed
and in same year under 12 intack Phill Fargher junr Baldrine drawn and James Kewley entered 'as before'
