Many thanks for those website references.
I had found a transcript of death (Margaret REID) on www.iomfhs.im/lawsons/LawsonBMD/burials but this only gave a date and the parish. I had also found transcript information of her death under burials on the www.imuseum.im site which showed a date, parish, age and abode.
I've just had another look on manxnotebook.com and didn't find anything new. It would appear that there are no records that I can access which would tell me where she is buried and/or what might be on her head stone, so I guess I have hit a wall with that for now. I'll keep my fingers crossed that in the future something might become available.
