Hi Tony,
Yes, the Margaret Kinrade on Brian Lawson's family files had married a different Thomas Corkill who was close in age to your Thomas. Brian can't have looked at their Ramsey marriage details. His interest was in Kinrade, not Corkill, but he had this under his "Spouses" file.
The Thomas Corkill who married Margaret Kinrade was the son of Christopher Corkill & Isabella Kermeen baptised Maughold Parish Church on 18 Oct 1840 (father's name & details given at their 1861 Ramsey marriage).
Your Thomas Corkill was baptised in Maughold Parish Church on 1 Jan 1841, the son of Robert Corkill & Catharine Kermeen. In the 1841 census he was aged 6 months. As the census was taken on the night of June 6th/7th 1841, Thomas was born late Nov./early Dec.1840, so was a couple of months younger than the other Thomas.
I have already asked Ian Radcliffe to change it on Brian's files on his website, but I can't do anything about the IOM Family History Society ones which appeared on the internet when they took them off their website after someone objected to "recent" entries being included - Ian removed these before putting them up again.
Sue
