Hi Sue, you may remember last August/September you helped me greatly, with a search for my great-great grandfather Robert Corkhill. Please don't think I'm being ungrateful but suddenly, after about nine months, a mystery in this thread has appeared. I have been satisfied that my great grandfather, Thomas Corkill was the son of Robert and Cath Kermeen. The last few nights, when searching for details of Robert Corkhill 1806--1853, I have found a record saying that Robert's son Thomas 1841 married a lady named Kinrade. My Thomas married Jane Graham and later Mary Ann McLaughlin.
I am sure there is a simple explanation and one which I have overlooked.
I would be really grateful if you would investigate this matter.
