May I add now I see there are others with interest in the Garrett surname of the Isle of Man.....
Other family members were:
William Joseph Garrett; John James Garrett; Robert Hugh Garrett and Annie Jane Garrett.
All children of John James G. and Elizabeth Anne Watterson.
John James G. was the son of William "John" Garrett and Eleanor Shimmin. I found him living with his Grandfather, Hugh Shimmin in 1861 census.....
