As I suspected the Museum holds the originals - they are mixed registers but the index sheet is confusing as has a sep section for burial regs which does not include the mixed regs!
I didn't have time to check out the 1911 official transcription (which is available on Mormon microfilm) tho based on other checks I suspect it would accurately reflect the 2 entries and also get the name correct - my own suspicion is a poor misreading by the IoMFamHist Soc (there are similar very poor transcriptions in some parishes for 1851 census which was done at about same time - one transcriber seemed in habit of transcribing into a shorthand and rereading (or misreading!) the shorthand to form the finish transcription).
