Dear Frances,
I had missed allot of post when 0FF THE BOARD BY CHOICE and went back to ARCHIVE 1, the first post that popped up was JOHN CAIN, Posted by ED JONES, 31/12.2006 12;17 p.m., he had over 300 hits, but I SEE NO REPLY,
It states; I am seeking any confrimation about the birth of JOHN CAIN who married Ester Lewin (Hamton) 27Feb1838 Braddan. I think he was christened on 27 Feb 1809 the son of Thomas Cain b. 30 Mar. 1782, Braddan and Mary Gelling b 1785,Douglas. I have confirmed data from John to the present day, I also have tentative information of JOHNS Grandfather, Robert Cain(e) and mother MARGARET QUIGGIN, ( which MARGARET QUGGIN was to be in our line, by the ANNE CORLETT will, WHICH, we have been studying the ANN CORLISS AND ANNE CORLETT AND ,but ED JONES continues, so any further information on those would be great help. I have trailed the IGI and censuses but being unable to get to the island it is proving a stumbling block, any suggestions would be greatfully received.
I notice there were no responses back to his post, he had over 300 hits I think ,but it looks like NO HELPER on the board with his post, was there any help? I would love to see it, MARGARET QUIGGIN , DID she remarry again, because n the will she was single, and are we talking about two MARGARET QUIGGINS, which I know you don't agree with the ANNE CORLETT-ADAM CAIN,marriage, but MARGARET, was a QUIGGIN and MARY GELLING was a witness i think on ANNE CORLETT'S will, and this was a 2006 post, I came on the board in 2006, after coming back from leicester, so WOULD not have known about this post, can you give my any insight on this post, was it ever followed up, for one of my post was on Ancestry.com 5 years before I GOT A HIT, so is there a way to respond,if never responded to, can you go back and respond now to a 2006 post, as stated, I saw no response, just many hits.
Kindly yours,
Mrs. Jonnie Ruth Rosa
