the years are some strange - there are penciled sheets marking years but there are also covers photo'd and also dated presentments - I looked at the given years on covers and presentments but I'm not 100% sure still of the actual year but the dates of death where found are a good guide as the will be handled at next court and before the date of the inventory - the frame index is the easiet way to find the wills by matching a name then counting frames !
Re the letter - no Tho was 14 in 1615 - and it was his mother who had married old Xpher Brew by then - see my other posting re 1615 entries in lib vas (but I'm missing a couple of years photos as more interested in Onchan at time
I think Mally's 1st husband was Xpher Carroly ('ly' seems to go to the Manx adjectival ending lagh at times)
