I can't find any marriage (+ the reg does not give mother's name) for this 1739 bapt - many of the merchants involved with the smuggling trade (see manxnotebook re this) were based in Ireland tho Ballaugh was not a significant place for this trade which was based mainly in Douglas, Peel + Ramsey
