I am wondering if there was a cousin with the name Barnabas Cain with a wife Elizabeth that had came to the USA around 1790 and 1800. These folks had several children including my great great grandfather James Cain who lived in Louisvill Kentucky. Other children to Barnabas and Elizabeth were Jane, Elizabeth and Walter.
Perhaps another family on Isle of Man? Parish Malew was from a possible location of the family.

Margaret Cain's father was James Cain married to Frances Singer. She was born in Kentucky 1829 and died in Washington State 1925.
