Thanks Sue, I have tried all your suggestions but no further luck! It doesn't help that his year of birth through all the Census records for him change his birth to be 1814 through to 1819 and his place of birth given as Arbory & Malew!! I'll just have to wait until I visit the IOM again to try and view his Will and anything else I can find. Thanks again. Jo
