The Purcell family who ran the Central Hotel in Ramsey in 1891 show a half sister with the name of Brannan.
My Great Grandmother was married as a Purcell (Annie) but when her second daughter, my Gran, was born, she gives her maiden name as Brannan.
Can anyone throw any light on this family for me?
