Does anyone know much about the ADDY family in Kirk German, IOM? I have been able to go back to Richard ADDY born bef 1699 m Elizabeth HERRING. I think both were born in the UK, but then had a son John (1719-1747) born on the IOM who went on to establish the ADDY family there.

I have seen the will for John and his wife Christian QUIRK als CAIN. What I would like to know is where there ADDYs on the island before then, and if not where they came from?
