My great grand father was William Frederick Callister born in 1844.
He married Ann Jane Lang (born 1845) in 1864 at St Mary's, Lamberth, Surrey
They had 8 children:
William John - born 1865
Henry Robert - 1867 - 1897
Frederick William (grand father) 1869 -1960
Annie - 1874
John Bridson - 1876
Alice Maud M - 1879
Arthur Edgar - 1881
George Albert 1883
If anyone has any info on this family I would love to hear from them.
It appears that they moved back to IOM when some of the children were young.
I did meet George when I was young and he live on IOM.
Frederick immigrated to South Africa when he was about 35.
From what I was told Henry Robert drowned while at sea?
