there is an illeg James s/o Saml Thompson + Jane Kelly bapt Onchan 18330324 for some reason I have a note against this - ?another c/o sml with mary thomson als cubbon;
there would appear to be another illeg to same couple in 1836 - in 1841 census in a multi family + very confusing household in Kiodrohad (ie Onchan village) headed by John Cain shoemaker

possibly the presentments for 1833/34 might shed some light
