I have the same information, bar the will, just never been certain as the middle name 'Heywood' is never used. Also, I was contacted recently by a Craig Thompson from New Zealand, who points out that Robert & Eliza are both shown on the 1841 census as having been born in Ireland, on Family Search Robert Heywood Thompson is shown as being baptised 2 Feb 1798 at Douglas. A rootsweb.ancestry.com Thompson Family Magazine reference to Robert Heywood Thompson, son of Samuel Thompson & Margaret Heywood, states that he died in 1825; which suggests that Robert & Eliza are different family to that of Robert Heywood Thompson.
