I am trying to find if a Captain James Douglas Bell of Auckland New Zealand was born on the Isle of Man. He was born in 1884 and was certainly in Wellington N Z by 1917. He later owned a passenger boat which he named Mona's Isle 11 and was known to give young passengers small enamel black Manx cat badges which makes me suspect he was a Manxman.

I wonder if he has any local decendants or relatives. He died in Auckland in 1965.
